DRACUT, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A former youth hockey coach was arraigned Tuesday in Lowell District Court on three counts of sexual assault.
Allen S. Pereira was arrested Sunday for the alleged sexual assault of a player on a team he coached. The assaults allegedly began when the player was 14 years old.

Pereira was ordered to wear a GPS device, keep off social media, avoid contact with the alleged victim, and stay away from several hockey rinks.
The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Dracut Police at 978-957-2123.
