PROVINCETOWN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Three years after recreational legalization passed in Massachusetts, adults on the Cape are finally getting local access to a recreational marijuana shop.
The company Curaleaf got the go-ahead from state and local officials two weeks ago. News of the store's opening comes a day after Curaleaf's CFO announced it had secured $300 million in capital, making it one of the largest cannabis companies in the U.S.
