WAREHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — One police officer and four other people have been transported to a local hospital with minor injuries following a multi-vehicle crash.
According to Wareham Police, Officer Aaron Pacheco was responding to an emergency call about a traffic accident at around 11:15 a.m., when Pacheco's police cruiser and two other cars were involved in a crash.
Authorities said it happened at the traffic lights on Cranberry Highway near the Cranberry Plaza and Home Depot intersection.

Officer Pacheco and four others were taken to Tobey Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Another officer responded to the initial call to which Officer Pacheco was on route. One person from that scene was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
