BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Today marks the deadline for eligible Massachusetts residents to register to vote in the presidential primary, which will be held on March 3.
And for the first time, Massachusetts is offering early voting in the primaries, which will be open between February 24th-28th.
If you haven't already registered by mail, Secretary of State William Galvin said “most local clerk’s offices will remain open until 8 p.m.” on Wednesday where you can go to register in-person.
“If you have a complicated situation, you don’t have a relationship with the Registry of Motor Vehicles, or there’s some unique circumstances that require maybe a name change or something, you’re probably better advised to go to your local clerk’s office,” Galvin said.
Galvin also said residents can register online until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, by clicking here.
