Falmouth Man Facing OUI Charges After A Pickup Truck Crashed Into A Home

FALMOUTH, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A 36-year-old man from Falmouth is expected to be charged with operating under the influence of liquor after he allegedly crashed his pickup truck into the side of a home on Jones Road.

Police arrived on the scene shortly after 1:40 a.m. Sunday where they found the red Chevrolet Silverado badly damaged after it slammed into a corner of the house.

The sole person inside the home was not injured. The driver refused medical treatment, according to police.

The driver was arrested at the scene for speeding, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and operating under the influence of liquor.

Due to the extensive damage done to the home, the Falmouth building inspector's office also responded to the scene.
