BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The jury in the trial of former film producer Harvey Weinstein has reached a verdict in his rape and sexual assault case.
Weinstein has been found guilty on two of five counts against him. He was convicted of rape in the 3rd degree and criminal sexual assault in the first degree.
The disgraced movie mogul was acquitted of the more serious charges of predatory sexual assault involving the women from those two convictions.
The two guilty charges could subject the 67-year-old to the possibility of 25 years in prison.
This is a developing story.
