CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — State Police confirm a 74-year-old woman was seriously injured after she was struck by a pickup truck in Cambridge on Sunday morning.
The incident happened outside 134 Memorial Drive near Ames Street at around 8:15 a.m. Sunday.
First responders arrived to find the victim trapped under a parked sedan. She was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries, according to State Police.

Investigators believe the woman was walking from in between two parked vehicles and walked directly in front of the Ford F150 pickup truck.
The driver, a 48-year-old Medford man, remained on the scene and cooperated with police.
The investigation is ongoing.
