BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The MBTA announced Tuesday the new Orange Line cars will be temporarily taken out of service.
"Inspectors identified a fault with the bolsters which is being corrected to ensure the vehicles are reliable & safe for the duration of their service lines," the MBTA wrote in a tweet.
The MBTA says that this would not impact service Tuesday morning and that the cars are expected to be returned to service later this week.
This is the third time since these new train cars have been pulled from the tracks since they debuted last year.
