AYER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Officials say they have identified the victim in a fatal drowning in Ayer earlier this year.
The Middlesex District Attorney's Office say that 49-year-old Thomas Cormier drowned in Grove Pond on Jan. 29, 2020.
Cormier had been reported missing for a week at the time, and was believed to have been operating a snowmobile on the ice at the pond.
Authorites say they saw a snowmobile track entering onto the pond.
