Cardi B Can Thank Vin Diesel's Daughter For Her 'Fast & Furious' Casting

After her role in Hustlers, Cardi B will flex her acting skills in the latest Fast & Furious installment and it seems the rapper has Vin Diesel's four-year-old daughter, Pauline, to thank for the role.

During Diesel's Tuesday (March 10) appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actor, 52, spoke about the new talent that has made their way to the latest film in the franchise. "John Cena, such a blessing to work with and is so incredible. Obviously, we have Helen Mirren. Obviously, Charlize [Theron]. And my daughter wanted a piece of casting to happen, so Cardi B is in it," he explained.

Kimmel pressed the superstar about the casting, saying, "Your daughter said to you ‘Dad, will you put Cardi B in the movie?’ And you said ‘Oh that’s a good idea?'" Diesel was seemingly on board with the idea, telling the late-night host, "I said, ‘It’s a great idea!’ As she's listening to 'I Like It Like That.'"

Expect to see Cardi B play the role of Leysa, a character with a romantic past to Diesel's Dominic Torento, in Fast & Furious 9, which hits theaters on May 22.
