(WBZ NewsRadio) — If you're stuck at home amid the coronavirus pandemic, and you happen to live in New Hampshire, you can now order a cold one along with your takeout dinner.
Governor Chris Sununu signed an emergency order on Wednesday allowing restaurants to serve beer or wine with their takeout and delivery orders.
"Today I issued an emergency order allowing for patrons to also order beer and wine from their favorite restaurants when ordering pickup or delivery," the Governor wrote on Twitter. "We appreciate the sacrifices many have made throughout COVID-19 developments."
Orders are limited to 16 beers or two bottles of wine, and must be accompanied by food. Deliveries can occur between 6:00 a.m. and 11:45 p.m., and the order has to be paid for in advance.
