Massachusetts Gets a Stay At Home Advisory. Gov. Charlie Baker today announced that all non-essential business shall close their physical facilities to their personnel and the public starting noon tomorrow and continuing until April 7th. Exceptions to the order include grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations and package stores. Are you essential personnel? Are you working from home? Are you laid off?

Coronavirus Aid Bill Tanks. Yesterday the Senate failed to clear a key procedural hurdle on a $1.6 trillion emergency rescue package, raising pressure on both parties to try again to reach a deal to address the economic devastation of the Coronavirus outbreak. Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell accused the Democrats of dickering while Minority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer says the Republicans are the ones playing games. Remote Voting. Democrat members of Congress are renewing their call to allow remote voting in the House so lawmakers can continue working while avoiding close contact amid the Coronavirus outbreak. This after four U.S. Senators are now in voluntary quarantine after Sen. Rand Paul tested positive for COVID-19. The President supports the idea. Do you?
