Framingham Company Creates Spray That Kills Coronavirus

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Framingham Shark Tank backed company, DetraPel, has developed a spray that can help keep clean during the coronavirus crisis.

David Zamarin just wanted to make a cleaning product for fabrics, but now he's developed a spray that he says is on the EPA’s approved list to kill the virus.

“It’s in a spray bottle. Similar to aerosol, but they’re not aerosol, in the sense that they don’t use any nasty propellants," Zamarin said. "It’s just powered by pure air. You get the effectiveness of an aerosol where it sprays evenly throughout, and you get 99% of the product out.”

Dertrapel’s virus killing power is now available for sale online.
