Sandra Bullock's Kids Thought Of An Awesome Idea To Help Healthcare Workers

Sandra Bullock and her loved ones are doing their part to help healthcare workers fight COVID-19 (coronavirus).

The Bird Box actress, her two children, son Louis, 10, and daughter, Laila, 8, and boyfriend Bryan Randall did something truly incredible for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles staff by donating thousands of personal protective equipment amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Taking to Instagram, Randall shared the story behind the thoughtful gesture, revealing Bullock’s kids were the ones who came up with the brilliant idea to donate the KN95 masks.

“Kids wanted to give masks. 6000 of them went to the warriors on the front lines in downtown LA,” he captioned a picture of the actress, wearing gloves and a face mask, posing in the shot as a worker unloads the packages of equipment, covered in a handwritten thank you sign from Louis and Laila. “Thank you Olivia at #adventistwhitememorial. Thank you Ricardo at #childrenshospitallosangeles… Louis and Lailas note could not have said it better.”

The Oscar-winning star is the latest celebrity to use her celebrity to support medical workers who have been battling the global COVID-19 crisis.

Earlier this week, Selena Gomez launched a relief fund of her own, JAY-Z and Meek Mill have joined forces to donate 130,000 surgical masks to correctional facilities, and Cardi B has also pledged donations for New York City medical professionals on the frontlines of the pandemic. As yet, over 505,000 cases of the novel virus have been confirmed in the United States and over 18,800 deaths related to the disease.
