Walpole Police Arrest Armed-Robbery Suspect After Chase

WALPOLE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Walpole arrested a suspect, accused of robbing a Cumberland Farms with a gun, overnight on Sunday.

Police say multiple suspects fled from the Cumberland Farms on Route 1A in a car before officers arrived to the scene. Authorities identified the suspects' car shortly after and a police chase ensued.

The suspects' car then crashed into a guardrail on Route 1. Three suspects then fled on foot. Officers captured one of the suspects. He was taken into police custody.

The arrested suspect has been identified as Denyson Pierre, 20, of Brockton. The two remaining suspects are still at-large.
