CONCORD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Frontline medical workers at Emerson Hospital got a special thank you message for their hard work during the coronavirus pandemic from actor Steve Carell.
In the video, the Massachusetts native thanked the healthcare staff at the hospital in Concord where he was born, and where his mother worked as a psychiatric nurse for more than 30 years.
"I like to consider myself sort of an alumni of Emerson Hospital because I was born there," Carell says in the video. "I was voted cutest baby of 1962."
Emerson Hospital posted the video online Wednesday afternoon.
Carell thanked the Emerson staff for their hard work during the pandemic, and told them to "keep up the good work."
