Mask Scofflaws. Somerville, Cambridge, Brookline and Peabody are assessing fines ranging from 50 to 1,000 dollars for not wearing masks in public. After Governor Baker announced today that Massachusetts is extending its stay-at-home advisory longer than expected, is the threat of a fine going to make you more careful about masking up this summer especially as the temperatures and the sweat level gets higher?
