Slipknot's Corey Taylor Selling 13 Guitars For COVID-19 Relief Effort

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor is auctioning off 13 of his personal guitars to benefit Direct Relief's COVID-19 efforts.

The Grammy Award-winner's collection includes one electric bass, eight electric guitars and four acoustic guitars, each of which has been played and signed by Taylor himself.

The collection is headlined by two Dave Grohl signature Gibson semi-hollow bodies and several Gibson Les Pauls.

Each guitar comes with a case to protect it and a certificate of authenticity to validate it. The bidding closes next Thursday, May 7. You can view the collection on eBay here.

In addition to Taylor's auction, eBay has pledged to match donations to Direct Relief, dollar-for-dollar, up to $1 million through May 31.

Direct Relief is working with public health authorities throughout the U.S. to provide essential PPE and medical items to frontline healthcare workers.

Slipknot's most recent album, was last summer's We Are Not Your Kind. The metal band canceled its tour of Asia last is March, but has yet to announce a ruling on the fate of the upcoming 'Knotfest Roadshow,' scheduled to begin May 30 in Syracuse, New York.
