Sandra Bullock's Daughter Makes Rare Video Appearance To Thank Nurse

Sandra Bullock’s cute daughter made the sweetest video cameo with her mommy.

The Oscar-winning actress made an appearance on Friday’s (May 8) Mother’s Day edition of Red Table Talk to pay thanks to Los Angeles nurse, April Buencamino, who has been helping to fight against the rapid outbreak of COVID-19 (coronavirus). Joining the Ocean’s 8 star was her adopted 8-year-old baby girl, Laila, who made a rare cameo during the show to send Buencamino a special shoutout of her own.

“Hi ladies,” said Laila, who sat on her mother’s lap in the video. “Thank you, April, for doing everything for everyone. Stay safe for your family.”

Gushing over the daughter’s sweet moment, Bullock said, “She’s our world superhero. She’s the one that’s going to save the world in our family. She’s ready to join you out there, April, in a few years.”

The mother of two, who is also has an adopted 10-year-old son, Louis, and her family have been doing their part to express their gratitude to the healthcare workers on the frontlines of the battle against the novel disease. And no one has been more passionate about doing so than Bullock’s little ones.

Just a month ago, Bullock and her boyfriend Bryan Randall donated thousands of personal protective equipment to the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles staff — but owed the charitable idea all to the little ones. “Kids wanted to give masks. 6000 of them went to the warriors on the front lines in downtown LA,” Randall captioned a picture of the shipment on IG, which came with a handwritten thank you sign from the siblings. “Thank you Olivia at #adventistwhitememorial. Thank you Ricardo at #childrenshospitallosangeles… Louis and Lailas note could not have said it better.”
