BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A new walk-in coronavirus testing site opened in Dorchester on Tuesday.
The site has been set up by Brigham Health at the Sportsmen Tennis and Enrichment Center, 950 Blue Hill Ave., Dorchester Center.
Testing is available to anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, and less of sense of smell. Anyone looking to be tested doesn't need to be a Brigham patient, have health insurance, or provide immigration status.
The site will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Friday, May 15. It's on a first come, first serve basis.
Boxes of fresh produce are also being distributed to those in need from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. until Saturday, May 16. Kits including masks, educational resources, and other helpful items are also available to those individuals.
