BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Police are investigating a fatal shooting of a man on Saturday night in a residential part of Dorchester.
According to BPD, officers responded to a call about the shooting in the area of 45 Bellevue Ave. shortly before 8 p.m.
“On arrival, officers observed an adult male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds,” said police. “The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.”
So far no arrests have been made. BPD said it is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
