Gov. Sununu: NH Beaches Now Open For Sunbathing, Other Activities

CONCORD, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu announced Friday that seacoast state beaches have been reopened for "sunbathing and other traditional beach activities."

Any groups of beachgoers should remain 6 feet apart from other groups.

"We've always said we'd work with the [NH Division of Public Health Services] to be nimble with our decisions based on public data, and we thank everyone for their patience," Gov. Sununu wrote on Twitter.

He also said that the current parking restrictions at the beaches will remain in effect.
