BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Baseball might be back in action, as long as certain stipulations are met. This comes after about three months of failed negotiations.
According to ESPN, Major League Baseball is aiming for a 60 game season starting around July 24.
Major League Baseball asked that the union, MLB Players Association, provide answers on whether players will be able to come to training by July 1 and whether the union will agree on the health protocols necessary for players to stay safe during the season.
The union was given the deadline of 5 p.m. Tuesday.
