Ivy League Schools Hold Sporting Events Until Next Year

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — University presidents have they don't believe there is a way sports competitions can meet their own campus safety guidelines.

That's why sports have been postponed until next year. Modified forms of practice and training will be allowed as long as they meet campus and state safety guidelines.

Harvard has some of the strictest policies among the Ivy League universities, including a cap on the number of students on campus this fall.

Because other universities are still deciding how to move forward, this postponement could lead to more schools doing the same.
