Nancy Shack Fills In On Nightside with Dan Rea - Rundown for July 10, 2020

Weather or Virus? The White House announced this afternoon that the President’s rally in Portsmouth, New Hampshire is being postponed due to weather concerns and is expected to happen in a “week or two.” The postponement comes after a public statement from the Portsmouth police commissioner that around 80 percent of the expected thousands of rally-goers will come from out of state. The commissioner also tweeted that President Trump was “essentially waging biological warfare,” and the rally which she described as dangerous is “EXACTLY what we want to avoid,” and had the potential of becoming a “superspreader” event. Is the rally being put off for weather or Covid?

Infection Free Protests? New York's Mayor Bill de Blasio is permitting Black Lives Matter protesters to continue marching through city streets while canceling all large events through September. De Blasio says the demonstrators’ calls for social justice are too important to stop. Are protesters magically infection free? If they can protest, why can’t they have a parade...or a barbecue....?

Biden: Progressive or Puppet? Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders says with his help, Joe Biden could be the most progressive president since FDR. President Trump says the former Vice-President is nothing more than a 'puppet' of the 'radical left'. Who do you think is right, Bernie Sanders or President Trump?
