Being a father of three daughters like Thomas Rhett sometimes means doing things you never thought you'd do-- like getting a pedicure. The country singer turned to Instagram on Thursday (July 16) to share a video of his 2-year-old daughter, Ada James, adorably giving him a pedicure.
"This is invigorating," Rhett captioned the clip of his toddler painting his nails pink while talking to herself.
The "Be A Light" singer and his wife, Lauren Akins, also share daughters Willa Gray, 4, and Lennon Love, 5 months. In October 2019, Rhett told Us Weekly he was "born to be a girl dad."
"I love it," the singer said at the time. "I love doing their hair, and I love playing Barbies with them, whatever they want me to do, tea parties. It’s just been awesome to get to be a dad of two beautiful girls and a third one on the way."
Baby number three arrived in February 2020. "It was such a joy to watch this little angel be brought into the world," Rhett captioned an Instagram post at the time. "My wife is just incredible through the entire birth. Watching our kids meet Lennon for the first time was probably the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen in my whole life! Ada James and Willa Gray are going to be the best big sisters on the planet. The Lord is so good and I’m so grateful for my beautiful growing family. Y’all pray for us as we switch from man to man defense to zone🕺"
Over the last few months, Rhett has been quarantining with Akins and their three daughters. While he misses playing concerts, Rhett does admit he's been thankful for more time with his girls.
"To me, it’s been kind of a blessing in disguise to be able to hang out with them and get to learn them a little bit better," he explained, "because on the contrary I would be on the road, but now I get to be at home and wake up with ‘em, go to sleep with ‘em and just finding new ways to have fun with ‘em."
