Massachusetts Confirms Another 218 Cases Of COVID-19

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Massachusetts Department of Public Health confirmed another 218 cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the state's total number of confirmed cases to 106,882.

Another 12 deaths in Massachusetts were also attributed to the virus, upping the state's confirmed COVID-death toll to 8,213.

The state DPH has also reported more than 6,600 probable cases of COVID-19 across the Commonwealth, and 218 deaths among probable COVID cases.

According to the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention the U.S. is close to 3.8 million cases of the virus, and more than 140,000 Americans have died from COVID-19 since March.
