Volunteer Mask Vigilantes. The City of Cambridge is launching a pilot Community Corps program to "support and encourage residents to adopt safe practices when using city parks and other recreational areas during the COVID-19 pandemic." They will move in pairs wearing orange t-shirts and are supposed to just help folks and be neighborly reminding people to wear masks and watch social distancing. Is this really a good idea?

Has The Past Caught Up With The Democrat Party? Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert (R) introduced a resolution yesterday calling on lawmakers to ban organizations or political groups that have historically supported the Confederacy or slavery in the U.S. That list includes the Democratic Party. The Congressman says it is time for Democrats to acknowledge their party’s loathsome and bigoted past, and consider changing their party name to something that isn’t so blatantly and offensively tied to slavery, Jim Crow, discrimination, and the Ku Klux Klan.” Do you agree?

Felon Voting. Did prisoners give up the right to vote when they committed a crime? The topic of felons being allowed to vote at election time has been a widely discussed topic in which back in 2019 in a poll released by Hill and Harris X, 70% of Americans were against giving prisoners the right to vote while serving time. Some are even against giving past felons the right to vote…are you? Boston Globe Opinion writer Abdallah Fayyad joins Dan on this subject where he believes it’s time felons get the right to vote!
