Best Speech Ever? The pundits are saying nominee Joe Biden's acceptance speech at last night's Democrat Convention was the best of his career. Mandated Flu Vaccine? All Massachusetts students, 6 months and up, are now required to get a flu vaccine by Dec. 31 if they want to attend school or day care unless medically or religiously exempt. The order has been sent out by the Commonwealth's Department of Public Health in order to reduce flu-related illness and the overall impact of respiratory illness during the COVID-19 pandemic. Party Time - Not! A number of colleges across the country, including Holy Cross in Worcester MA, are disciplining students for hosting large parties where masks and social distancing are not present. At the University of Connecticut students were evicted from on campus dorms for flouting COVID safety guidelines. Meanwhile at the University of Notre Dame and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, in-class courses were canceled, and students were sent home for the semester after Coronavirus outbreaks. Are young Americans taking the pandemic seriously? What should happen to virus scofflaws?
