BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Memorial Day Weekend has, for the most part, been a freezing, rain-soaked washout — but hope is on the horizon as we hit the holiday itself.
Chilly temperatures and a cold, soaking rain should continue across Greater Boston throughout Sunday night. After that, the forecast is mixed.
The skies should clear later on Monday, and there's even a chance that the weather could turn warm and partly sunny Monday afternoon. The current forecast high for Monday is about 66 degrees.
According to the National Weather Service, rain should taper off in the afternoon, leaving a short window of barbeque-worthy weather at the tail-end of Memorial Day.
