BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — City officials have announced the Boston Common Frog Pond spray pool will reopen for the season on Thursday, June 24.
There will be a celebration on that date starting at 11 a.m.
The official mascot Frog Pond Freddie will stop by for a visit. The public can also meet LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Boston’s Master Model builder, as well as build their own creations. Attendees can also take pictures with football, basketball, hockey, and baseball Championship trophies, which are all made of LEGO.

Hood Ice Cream will be available for residents between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Non-profit New England Dairy will also be there to celebrate all things dairy, including farming, food, nutrition, and wellness. Children of all ages can also enter a summer raffle.
Families will be able to ride the Boston Common Carousel. Admission is $3, with 10-ride cards available for $25. The carousel will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Frog Pond spray pool will also be open daily form 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Labor Day.
