Salem Police Investigating Series Of Bow And Arrow Shootings Into Homes

SALEM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) —Police in Salem are investigating after a series of recent shootings, involving someone with a bow and arrow shooting at homes.

Salem police are looking into at least five separate shootings involving a high-powered bow but said there could be more incidents that have not been reported yet.

Homes were hit on four different streets in both North and South Salem, including on Leavitt Street, North Street, Ocean Avenue and Willow Avenue.

The incidents are believed to have happened during the night.

Pictures from officials show arrows lodged deep into houses and apartments in the area, near doors and windows. No one was injured during the incidents.

Police are now asking the public for help and any information that could help lead to the person or people responsible.
