A venomous cobra is still on the loose in Grand Prairie, Texas, but it's keeping everyone updated though social media.

Obviously a snake can't actually type. Instead, a creative DFW resident is having a little bit of fun tweeting as the Grand Prairie Cobra.

"Just a cobra visiting and seeing the sites of Grand Prairie and North Texas," reads its bio.

The cobra is documenting its travels throughout the DFW suburb and making snake jokes.

The cobra was last seen vibing around town while listening to ZZ Top in its latest video.

Ssssooo far the snake has just over 5,700 followers on its Twitter account.

However, as a for the real snake, no one knows where it is. The venomous West African banded cobra hasn't been seen since Tuesday, August 3, when it slipped out of its cage at a home in the the 1800 block of Cherry Street.

Owner Tre Mat hired "a venomous snake apprehension professional" to try to find the cobra before contacting authorities about the missing snake.

“I wanted my community to feel safe. And yeah, it’s required. I’m required as a permitted citizen to call my community if somethings, a mishap,” Mat told CBS DFW.

Mat believes that the snake is dead, but local authorities are still warning people not to touch the snake and to call 911 in case they do find it.
