BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Police said they arrested four men behind a Roxbury middle school after they allegedly beat, robbed, and kidnapped a man there.
Police said they were approached by a bleeding victim in Roxbury at about 6:00 PM Saturday evening.
The victim told police that three men had forced him into a Jeep at gunpoint and stole his two phones, and then drove around for a short while. He said one of the men hit him in the head with one of their guns at some point, causing a lump.
The victim told police he was then forced out of the SUV while it was still moving.
After a short search, Boston Police said they found four suspects near their cars in the back lot of James Timilty Middle School — they were later identified as Sekou Sesay of Dorchester, Mohamed Kaba of Roxbury, Ahmed Kaba of Brockton and Abdigani Abdullahi of Roxbury.
The men were placed under arrest after police found a loaded handgun on one of them, and eventually recovered two more guns and what they described as a "large quantity" of cannabis.
Police pointed out that young children were playing at the adjacent Jeep Jones Park as the arrests were going on.
The men are being charged with kidnapping, armed robbery, and numerous firearms and drug charges. No word from police as to when they will be arraigned, but they will appear in Roxbury District Court.
