Chris Sununu Ends State Address For House Member’s Medical Emergency

CONCORD, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) – New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu suddenly ended his State of the State address Thursday when a House member experienced a medical emergency. 

Sununu paused his speech, which he started giving just before 11:00 a.m., once he heard people in the audience calling for medical attention.

Rep. Ralph Boehm, R-Litchfield, had suffered a medical emergency and officials said later that Boehm was expected to make a full recovery after a night in the hospital.

In a statement from Sununu’s office, the governor said he will not resume his speech and his office will issue a full transcript of the entire speech.
