ANDOVER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) – Police in Andover are investigating a discovery of human remains, according to the Essex District Attorney's office.
Police said they responded to a call from a dog walker around 11:30 Monday morning who said they found possible human remains. This was in the area between Routes 28 and 495 North in Andover.

Photographs showed that a skull, jaw and either arm or leg bone were found. The remains were sent to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office for forensic examination where they were indeed confirmed to be human remains. This incident remains under investigation.
