BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) - Not only is it National Beer Day, but it's also National Burrito day, and a local Taqueria is taking advantage and combing the two; beer and burritos.
In a partnership with Harpoon Brewery and Anna's Taqueria, a new sour beer combines a hibiscus drink called Jamaica, served at Anna's, and actual tortillas in the limited-edition kettle sour beer. According to a release the beer is a "refreshingly tart twist with a touch of malty sweetness and fruit-forward modern hops."
The beer was released ahead of the national-days on April 6th.
The Harpoon Anna’s Taqueria Jamaica Sour will be available on draft and in 16 oz. four-packs. It will be available at Harpoon’s Boston Beer Hall, Harpoon Taproom and Beer Garden, and throughout New England where Harpoon beers are distributed.
