BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) - After a chilly start, we're beginning the warm-up Thursday.
Coming off the backside of high pressure, despite the warmer temperatures, there will be noticeably more wind, which means it may not exactly feel like the warm-up is here.
Temperatures are expected to climb Thursday near 60 in the afternoon, with clouds and breezy gusts running around 20-30 mph into the early evening. The chance of rain remains low with just a passing sprinkle for a few around sunset.
Friday will be the pick of the week, with highs in the low to mid 60s and mostly sunny skies. However, the breeze will be there out of the northwest with gusts running 20-25 mph.
The weekend will be cooler, but only slightly. Unless you're along the coast, where temperatures will remain in the 50s. Municipalities away from the marine air will reach highs into the low 60s.
Saturday will be the better pick of the weekend, starting with sun before clouds increase into the afternoon and carry into Sunday with a chance of a quick shower or two.
The next chance for some substantial rain won't arrive until late Tuesday or Tuesday night.
