Police Looking For Woman Who Allegedly Flipped Coolatta Machine At Dunkin'

BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) - Boston police are looking for a woman they said pushed the Coolatta machine over behind the counter at a Dorchester Dunkin' Donuts, after the drink she requested wasn't on the menu.

Police said the woman went through the drive-thru around 6:46 p.m. on Monday April 25, at the Dunkin' located at 456 Blue Hill Avenue. She ordered a multicolored Coolatta beverage, but when the staff told her the item was not in the menu, the customer became increasingly hostile. Employees at the Dunkin' Donuts tried to give the customer a different drink from the menu and even offered the beverage for free, but the customer became belligerent. The woman then drove to the front of the store, got out of her car and entered the business, all while yelling profanities at staff members. She then overturned the Coolatta machine, causing it to fall on the floor and nearly striking an employee.

The woman then fled in a grey SUV.

Anyone with information is urged to contact B-2 Detectives at 617-343-4275.
