BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) — Have you ever been on a Single Surrey Cycle? The giant bike looks sort of like a dune buggy, or a pedal-powered golf cart, and a new bike shop in East Boston is offering rentals just in time for summer.

Boston Bike Rentals owner Azinga Ming said they rent a bikes for the whole family, and the cycles can fit up to two adults and two small kids. They're outfitted with a canopy and a squeaky horn so you can take a 'bicycle built for two' to the next level.

"One speed so no one can get too crazy," she said. "You don't have to worry about balancing and anything else that comes with learning to ride a regular standard bicycle."

The shop rents standard bicycles, along with tandem bicycles, walking bicycles, the Single Surrey Cycle and the Double Surrey Cycle. You can even rent a "Picnic & A Bike Ride" option, complete with everything you need to glide down the Greenway and enjoy a picnic.

The shop is open from Wednesday through Sunday and located at 340 Breman Street.
