Mobile Coffee Business Brings The Brew To You

BLACKSTONE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Sip the movement.

That's the logo for a new business in Blackstone that brings the java right to the customer. Married couple Steve Poirier and Alexa Monacchio are contracted to bring their trailer out to local events, farmers markets, and even right to your door.

They recently purchased a pull-along trailer, converting it into the mobile coffeeshop, Doglio.

Nitro cold brew, specialty espressos (like a honey oatmilk cortado espresso), and all the coffee products sold by Doglio are organic.

"Coffee crop is the most chemically treated in the world. Most people are having at least one cup of coffee a day," Monacchio told WBZ NewsRadio's Kim Tunnicliffe. "You know, that was really important to us."

And just like the milkman, Doglio delivers.

"We deliver it to your door, within like a 30 mile radius," Monacchio said. "People can wake up in the morning and not have to go to the drive through."

Poirier and Monacchio named the coffee shop Doglio after the small Italian town where they got married three years ago.

"There was this small little restaurant and there was always these ten guys out there in the morning, having their espresso, enjoying each other's company, really fully immersed in the moment," Poirier said. "That just kind made a really lasting impression on us."
