BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — It'll be starting stormy for your Memorial Day weekend but clearing up as the days go on.
Accuweather's Brian Thompson says tonight will be muggy, around 65°, with rain around and the chance of a thunderstorm - watch for downpours developing.
Saturday is expected to be humid with showers, even a gusty thunderstorm. The high temperature is expected to be around 75° in Boston and inland, but a bit cooler on the cape and islands.
The humidity will be less harsh for Sunday. The day will be partly cloudy with high temperatures around 75° in Boston but closer to 80° inland - mid 70's on the cape and islands.
For Memorial Day Monday, it'll be partly sunny and much warmer: as high as 90° for the city and the warmest inland spots but around 75° on Cape Cod.
Looking ahead. Tuesday will stay nice and cool down a bit. with a high near 70° along the coast, warmer inland.
