Boston Police Search For Suspects In Fraud 'Skimming' Incidents

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Boston Police Department are searching for a pair of suspects after officials discovered a "skimming device" at Tropical Food Supermarket on 450 Melnea Cass Boulevard in Roxbury.

Police describe the first suspect as light-skinned man with a beard, shown in surveillance images to be wearing a white fitted hat, light colored zip-up hoodie, dark pants, and black sneakers. Police say the first suspect was the one to plant the skimming device.

The second suspect, police say, also appears to be a light-skinned man with a beard, wearing a New York Yankees hat and dressed in black at the time of the incident.

Police asked anyone with information related to the incident to call detectives at 617-343-4275.
