Let's take you back to 1995 when a movie called "Tommy Boy" was released, and in the movie, actor David Spade's character tells fellow comedian Chris Farley, “You could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves. 25 years later, that ridiculous line has become a reality.
Condiment brand French's has teamed up with a Canadian popsicle company to create the ketchup popsicle and they appropriately named it the "French'sicle."
The companies describe the "treat" as "perfectly savory, with a hint of salty sweetness."
Before you go running off to your local grocery store, these are only available to purchase at select pop-up locations in Canada.
However, they have revealed a recipe so that you can make them at home.
RECIPE:
3 1/4 cups (810 milliliters) tomato juice
1/2 cup (125 milliliters) French's® Tomato Ketchup
2 teaspoons (10 milliliters) FRANK'S RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce Caesar Rim (optional)
Blend...Freeze...Try to enjoy.
