BRIDGEWATER (WBZNewsRadio) - A Bridgewater business owner is among those vying for the title in the 24th season of popular reality competition show 'Big Brother.'

Matt Turner, a Massachusetts native, is one of 16 house guests on this season of the CBS show. When he's not living out drama under 24/7 surveillance for national television, Turner runs the Rug Shack Thrift Store in Bridgewater along with his girlfriend, Megan Belmonte. They sell vintage rocker t-shirts, and unique rugs Turner makes himself.

Belmonte says the experience of seeing her boyfriend on reality TV is "surreal."

"Every time I see him on there it's like a whole new feeling of 'Oh my God.'" she said. "It hasn't even hit me yet."

Belmonte says she's a huge fan of Big Brother, and she's even been tuning in to watch the 24/7 live feeds from the house.

"I can watch him going in the pool, lifting weights, getting tan." She said. "It's not that I don't trust him, but I'm just like 'I just miss you and I just love seeing your face.'"

The 'Big Brother' contestants are locked away without any contact from the outside world and are filmed constantly. Viewers can watch live feeds on the CBS app and weekly episodes that air twice a week on CBS.

The last guest standing will win $750,000.
