DEDHAM (WBZNewsRadio) - It's the battle for the biggest name when it comes to what's playing on the small two-screen Dedham Community Theatre.
Since the start of the pandemic, owner Paul McMurtry said business is down 75 percent and larger theaters and Megaplexes push out the smaller independent venues, like the Dedham Community Theatre from being able to show the top independent flicks.
"I understand there's a competitiveness, we're in unprecedented times. Some would hope those partners in the industry would help out so we can all get through this." He told WBZ's Kim Tunnicliffe.
