BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston is one of the rudest cities anywhere, according to a new survey. The questionnaire by language learning company Preply found Boston the 5th rudest city according to its residents, out of a total of the 30 largest metropolitan areas in the country.
Two of the biggest gripes residents had were drivers not slowing around pedestrians, and people here not acknowledging strangers in public. Respondents also ranked locals from Boston the second rudest in the united states.
The survey questioned almost 1,600 Americans nationwide. The rudest city overall — despite the "City of Brotherly Love" moniker — was Philadelphia. The least-rude was Austin, Texas.
