QUINCY (WBZNewsRadio) - More than a dozen QR codes now grace Quincy's downtown area, offering both residents and tourists alike a look at the city's rich history.
"This is where it all started, that's what we like to say, right? We're the city of presidents." Tourism director Dagny Ashley said. The goal is to get more people to see the sites and sounds of Quincy.
It's simple, you can either scan the QR code on your smart phone to access the audio or stop by the city's visitors center to pick up an audio device and headset. There are 19 spots on the tour including the granite sphere in front of city hall, the tomb of John Hancock as well as several historical statues, including the Abigail Adams statue, set to be dedicated this Saturday, Nov. 5th.
