ORLEANS (WBZNewsRadio) - After weeks of Police stakeouts using night vision goggles, a thief who had been stealing lawn decorations in Orleans has finally been caught.
It all started back on Oct. 17, when a resident on Brick Hill Rd reported that on several occasions someone had removed decorations from her front yard several times overnight during that weekend. The stolen items were then discarded into neighboring yards.
Officers got to work, staking-out the property with night vision goggles, but had no success.
It was only recently when the homeowner moved her security camera to face the decorations in her yard, that the perpetrator, a coyote, was caught, red-pawed.
