COHASSET, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) — Ana Walshe was last seen at her home in Cohasset just after midnight on New Year's Day. Police are now seeking the public's help in locating Walshe.

She stands 5'2" and weighs around 115 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and has what authorities describe as an olive complexion. Police say she may speak with an Eastern European accent.

In a media conference on Friday, Police Chief William Quigley said investigators have conducted a group search with K-9s at her home and will continue to search. He said since Walshe's disappearance, there has been no paper trail from credit card transactions or any electronic records indicating where she has been since January 1.

Walshe works as a real estate executive in Washington, D.C. where she commutes every week from her home in Massachusetts. She lives with her husband and children in her Cohasset home.

Friends of Walshe told WBZ-TV her disappearance is out of character. They said she typically doesn't go anywhere alone without communicating. She is normally very active on social media, with her last post being just a few weeks ago of her at a Washington Capitols hockey game.

If anyone has seen Walshe or has any information regarding her whereabouts, they are urged to contact the Cohasset Police Department, Detective Harrison Schmidt, at 781-383-1055 x6108 or email hschmidt@cohassetpolice.com.
